I don't think bootie length would work, and I'm sure when he said ankle length, it just meant they wouldn't go up onto my calf. Make no mistake, he said most of the length can be taken off. It's just a matter of what would be the cutest length. And then there is the point of not everyone is going to know what length they are, anyway. Do you know if ankle-length was suggested because of how he will reconstruct the shaft opening? The colour will matt down a bit after the final rubdown. Now I just need to decide what other mods to make to these boots. I'm still considering cutting them down.
