Thanks for the update. I'm glad it is working better.

FWIW, the images in the cards are the same image resized, so I don't think there are any memory benefits to using the smaller size cards. That said, who knows what IE is doing internally, so anything's possible. :-)

This seems to be working now. I had been using a temporary workaround of changing the icons to "small" which for some reason was preventing crashes. I hadn't had a chance to try other browsers, but there was an IE update recently so perhaps that helped

Yes I was thinking along the same lines. I usually have IE open for long periods, often with several hibernates thrown in there, so that's even more likely. I'll experiment both with fresh IE browsers and with a couple others after work today and report back.

Thanks. Do you ever use another browser? If so, it would be great if you could try using it for a day on Finds to see whether the same (or similar) issue occurs.

I have tried hard to make this happen, but haven't succeeded. But IE has some known issues that might be the cause. I know you said that it sometimes happens on earlier pages. But does it happen soon after restarting IE?

To get technical for a moment, I suspect that IE is not cleaning up the elements I remove from the previous page when paging to the next one. So they hang around in memory and eventually accumulate to an out-of-memory condition. If the app sometimes crashes early in your session then this is less likely to be the cause.

Ok here are some screenshots; got this after browsing the finds for a bit. Still can't figure out a reliable scenario to produce it though. #1 is the initial crash, #2 is after it thinks about what it's doing in #1, and then #3 is the recovered page (which goes back to page one of whatever finds list you're in, and if this was a post all text would also be reset due to page refresh).

EDIT: The page looks like it jumps around because this is three separate crashes so I could get each shot It's not reserved to later pages like it shows here.

Well I was trying to get a screenshot for you but today it's working well It hangs for a few seconds, pops up an error message saying there was an error so the page needs to reload, and reloads the page.

Thanks Aida. I haven't seen that, but I don't use Finds in IE very often. Can you explain what you mean by "crashing"?

Hi Greg, the navigation to next/previous pages when browsing Finds is crashing a LOT in Internet Explorer for me. I can't get it to duplicate reliably so I have no idea what's the cause. I see it both in the desktop and metro IE in Windows 8.1, all updates applied. This happens within the finds section as well as when browsing finds pages for posts, both my own and in responses (it took me many many tries to add stuff from not-page-one to my post yesterday). The page crashes then has to recover, but like I said I can't seem to duplicate it reliably.
