But generally the latest versions are going to get more love an attention than older ones, so often you're better off in areas like security. The last couple of days, I did have some problems with my cursor in Safari acting weird. I was doing some online shopping and had a lot of tabs open, which can sometimes be a strain on the memory. The cursor became the swirling icon that you get when the program needs to stop a bit to load something. However, after the loading had stopped and I was able to access the tabs, the cursor did not change back to its normal arrow but remained the swirling thingie. In other words, I could use it just like a regular cursor (the computer wasn't hung up), but it was the swirling thingie that shouldn't have allowed me to use it as a regular cursor. This happened in Safari on all web pages, if I recall, not just on the forum. I think it was OK in other applications. It is OK today, though.</p> <p>Does this give you any ideas of what I should try? Or do you think I need to call Apple customer support at this point?
