I do my own finds, but I also lean on everyone else's finds in a couple of ways:

I sometimes use it to "pre shop" a store or website, or to familiarize myself with a new-to-me retailer. I'll pull up all the finds from a certain store or line. That gives me a snapshot of the store's look and can highlight some options I might have overlooked otherwise.

If I'm trying to figure out what type of item I might like, I'll do a search of finds people have collected already (the way some people use pinterest). I recently pulled up all the finds labeled "sneakers" for example. That gave me a good overview of what kind of sneakers options are out there, and helped me see which variations appealed to me. I've done the same for handbags, or pants styles.

I've also used items from the bigger finds collection to put together a practice capsule for a certain look. I like finds for this because finds are actual items that are out there in stores (especially if I limit my search to stores in my price range).

I have my entire Wardrobe recorded in Finds. I LOVE THAT:

What I am considering purchasing or is on its way to me, I pop into "Shopping":

I also make Collections of my own outfits:

There are lots of things you can do, most of which I haven't done yet. ;)

For example, you can make "collections" of your finds --- so have a collection for all your footwear, or all your jackets, or your purchases for a particular season. You can add and subtract to these.

You can recommend items to others, too.

Dating would be a great idea (thank you!) -- I suppose you could do that in the notes. You could also note the price you paid if you wish, to keep a budget.

A lot of time I just use it to mark Angie's picks for reference. When I do buy something I try to remember to add a find or make a custom find. Then I can use the collections feature to save outfit ideas or capsules. It's a great tool!

I think the Finds feature is awesome, but I'm not sure I'm making the most of it. I have added a lot of my shopping list and wardrobe to My FInds and added a few custom items, so I think I have the hang of that. But how else do you use this? Do you somehow date your finds so you can easily see how much you've added to your wardrobe in a timeframe? Do you set up outfits or capsules in Finds? How do you organize things?
