Thanks for the suggestions. Angie, did you have a particular item in mind, because about all I see are crops, ankles, or skinny jeans. There are a couple of straight legs and nearly straight bootcuts, but they seem too close fitting all the way down the leg for what I’m seeking at the moment. Though they might be options to explore when I visit Macy’s in my daughter’s town next.

Thanks!

Cjh. Do you have a picture of yourself in the jeans that you’d be willing to post? May make it easier. Sound like your looking for a basic straight leg pant...also could be helpful to know what the leg openings is.

My favorite old jeans that I love to wear with my Converse tennis shoes, boyfriend cardigans and knit tees are starting to wear out, notably a small hole near the bottom of the zipper fly. And they are getting thin everywhere.

The closest I can come to describing their shape is carpenters pants, but without the pockets. Maybe these are close in shape and fit. They fit close in waist and hips and bottom, but then fall fairly straight without either bootcut, flare or taper anywhere. The rise is medium high, and the length is perfect, neither cropped or too long.
https://www.dickies.com/pants/.....0_color=WH

The ones I have are Izod brand and I’m sure at least 10 years old. When I worked , I wasn’t hard on jeans but now they’re worn every day.

Has anyone seen the like in denim? Thanks if you can offer ideas!

ETA The leg opening is 18”, but not really flared. As you can see by the first photo, they are pretty close fitting at hips, mid rise, and pretty straight from hips/crotch down. The length just less than 1/2” off the floor, I would say. 3 and 4 are how I style them. Today is cold and damp, so I will keep the scarf on. This is my Urchin Art Woman style.
