I started getting treatment from my primary practitioner, and tried my best to get into the sliding scale mental health care system in my area. Apparently, I got lost in the system, because I got nowhere for a year.</p> <p>Yesterday, i finally got myself righted in their system, and should be getting a call to schedule an appointment to start treatment with a mental health professional.</p> <p>What does all this have to do with YLF? Well, this has been one of the places I've been able to take refuge from the mess my head makes of my days. I've been able to come here, look at outfits and be jealous of how pretty everyone looks LOL, I've been able to get advice on decisions regarding my wardrobe, and just hang out with a bunch of great people. It's been a sliver of normalcy when everything has felt abnormal. Each and every one of you, whether you knew about my anxiety or not, has been a vital part of helping me get through the wait while I got sorted in the system. To be able to just do something "normal" like talk about fashion/style, like a ladies day put, has been a gift. </p> <p>So I thank you, each and every one, for being so freaking fab. Thank you for helping me get through a dark time, for being a bright beacon of hope when I despaired of ever feeling like a "normal" person again.</p> <p> XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO </p>
