It can be inconsistent, at least for me. (my toes don't slant like most people's toes.) for my pointier/narrower toed Fidjis, I take a 39.5. The pair I have with square toes, I sized down to 38. I wear an 8.5 in non-Euro shoes.

I wear a pretty solid 8.5 and have slightly wide feet at the toes, but still get M width and avoid narrow shoes.

In Fidji, I've ended up with three pair of 38.5. There was one pair where the 38.5 was too short and 39 wasn't available, so I had to pass.

Hope that might offer some insight. . .

Sorry, I wish I could be of more help, but I have tried on Fidjis and they must run like Nordstrom says because the one's I tried were with all the other size 8s (which is my size) in a clearance center where I shop (run by Nordstrom). Maybe someone else will see this and comment.

I know that Angie is a big fan of Fidji shoes and a few others have tried them, so I'm hoping that some of you can offer sizing advice. How does Fidji typically run in terms of width and US-to-Euro conversion in the small end of the range?

I measure as a size 5W but usually buy 5M or 5.5M if the shoe runs narrow, since my instep isn't that tall and my heels are narrow. For example, in Aerosoles sizing I'm a solid 5, since the 5.5's I can try on in-store are always just a little big.

As for Euro sizes, 36 is definitely too big for me so I've typically taken the 35; I've never seen or tried on European half-sizes. But Nordstrom's Fidji size guide says that 4.5 = 35 and 5 = 35.5... I would be buying from Amazon which only carries whole sizes (the B455 specifically).
