They really look like a unique shoe, I love it. For me, that is the best combination: a sort of unique looking shoe which is comfortable cannot be beat. My feet are very fussy lately and I know how rare this combination really is. After one month, you'll just enjoy the shoes and won't think of the price anymore (has happened several times to me when I hesitated for a long time to purchase an expensive item). How do you like yours?</p> <p>Chouette, I've considered that, but (like Crasdy mentioned) the shoes look better in person than they probably do in my hastily snapped photos, and here's the other thing - I have a cheaper pair of black pumps and don't love them because they really don't add much interest to what I wear (and also, they are less comfortable.) I have been feeling the lack of black pumps for a while, though I have made do with my gray pair instead when a black pair might have done better. However, I have also grown much pickier with what I will &amp; won't let into my wardrobe, and I have been waiting for a pair of shoes to really "wow" me. These just do the trick for some reason, and they are comfortable &amp; high quality to boot. I've been thinking about them for many months, and that's also usually a way to confirm that a potential wardrobe addition is a keeper.</p> <p>Rosee, the price I paid for the shoes was exactly halfway in between. It was kind of a love at first sight, and as the model is going out of stock quickly, I am trying to jump on them before I miss my chance. Fortunately, I made this decision just at the time that they went on sale on Zappos and 6PM. But they are still *very* expensive shoes, so I want to make sure they are really killer shoes before I commit to them. I'd appreciate your feedback.</p> <p>I'm already sold on the comfort factor, even more so than with the yellow slingback/lace-up style of Fidjis that I already own. Funny enough, the sizing of this shoe is *very* different than my previous pair of Fidjis - due to my square toes, I actually had to size *down* in these to get a good fit, whereas I had to size way up in my other pair. They also fill a style niche in my wardrobe - I only have one other pair of black shoes, which are patent peep-toe pumps that aren't half as comfortable as these, and the peep-toe style is kind of limiting.</p> <p>(Off topic: these photos, taken at the end of the day, make it clear how badly I need a haircut. Yikes!) </p>
