The skirt looks fab on you! But I don’t love these boots with it. Something fitted on the ankle or a more refined shape that reads less casual/sporty would really work much better with something as fitted and classic as a pencil skirt. (Though, have you done the sit test/ walk test to see if that slit is comfortable for movement and also when you sit that you don't feel overly exposed with the slit?). But the footwear isn't working with it. So it's a question of a different skirt (as Bijou suggested) or different/ additional footwear, I suspect. I have already decided to keep the burgundy sweater, I wore it with a different skirt yesterday. The saten shirt is almost a duplicate of a Zara shirt that I already own in navy and wear tons. So I know I am keeping that too. I am undecided about the skirt.&nbsp;</p> <p>Pros:&nbsp;<br />- Not an investment piece, but a good enough quality for the price point.&nbsp;<br />- I like the color, goes well with the stuff I tried, and probably more stuff in my closet that I didn't try on (a white turtleneck sweater, the navy shirt I mentioned, a black crossover shirt, etc.)&nbsp;</p> <p>Cons:<br />- I don't have any shoes that go with it. I've tried every single pair in my closet and this is the only one that looked remotely ok. I could wear black booties with when I am wearing black on top, but I really hope to make the tonal versions work this holiday season. I am not 100% convinced, and I am not planning to buy new shoes just to wear this skirt.&nbsp;</p> <p>What do you think?&nbsp; </p>
