Facebook kept showing me an add for Adidas x Farm Rio, and it got me in the end. Too bad they don't seem to have them in wide--the comfort level is certainly there if they fit. I wore them out of the box last week for a full day at the office with no problems. I have one with cats on it that fits the bill a bit more, but even that is pretty cute. It was too warm for that one yesterday. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div><b>Rachylou</b> - I am struggling with this now too, especially since I am craving dressier clothes but my pandemic lifestyle has not changed enough. I do go out more, but hybrid work is here to stay for me, and I only go in twice a week (if that). And my office is not veyr formal to start with!&nbsp; I do dress a bit for work at home--more than sweats, put together outfits, but not as put together as going out to work.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Bijou</b> - I will try! The new house is great, but we have had some problems with poor management of our condo (we are on our third company) and a leaking roof, among more minor issues for the whole building. That's on top of the flood in our basement, fixing that, and then putting in flood prevention measures). I dressed for a casual holiday gathering with an ugly sweater theme today, so I figured I’d post. </p> <p>The sweater is not too ugly - I love a Christmas tartan. </p> <p>I also seem to have gotten Christmas-red highlights in my hair (close up included). </p> <p>I’m still around lurking, but my posting time has been eaten up by other obsessions. I have shopped quite a bit, filling out my activewear wardrobe, replacing most of my coats and some of my shoes (for better fits; examples in finds). I’ve also been buying up sweater vests while they are around. It makes a great extra layer that makes my long sleeve tops usable for more of the year. </p> <p>I have a few too many pieces of festive clothing. Anyone else? </p> <p>I hope you’re all well. Things are pretty good here. Better than this time last year, for sure.</p>
