Hehe. Later that night I was going to a party, and I switched out the top under the jacket for a bright patterned silk tank top. Well, &nbsp;I wore my EF skirted leggings on the 5.5 hour -stuck-in the-window-seat flight&nbsp;with two, eh hem, large guys next to me. &nbsp;&nbsp;Those leggings &nbsp;were super comfy.</p> <p>Arrived at hotel, with 5 minutes to get ready to go to my company's HQ and almost didn't change. &nbsp;But, I did -- just into skinnies and a jacket - acceptable California office wear.</p> <p>When I arrived I learned that our company had just announced it was being acquired by a multibillion dollar high tech company, and the new head of our division was in the office.</p> <p>Ladies, I was VERY glad I had changed. &nbsp;I wished I had been in something a bit&nbsp;dressier even, but truly I did not want to meet the new big boss in my (so comfy) skirted leggings. &nbsp;The boss was wearing CA casual - he wore jeans, a v neck sweater and a white open collared shirt to make his first impression on 130 people.</p> <p>I changed back into the EFSL&nbsp;for the party at my boss's home this evening and felt completely appropriate.&nbsp;</p> <p>This was a lesson in being prepared and always just a little overdressed, rather than underdressed.&nbsp; I'm definitely upping my style formality at least one, if not two notches going forward with this new company.</p> <p>Sorry no photo &nbsp;- coming soon!</p> <p> </p>
