There is such a thing as an 'ape index' that speaks to long arms vs overall height. I always have trouble with sleeve length, and have really enjoyed the 3/4 length trend. However, this year I have had incredibly good luck with finding sweaters, and even button down shirts with arms that are long enough without having to go up a body size. Ann Taylor and French Connection, and of course Danier for leather! Also, look for dolman sleeves. crazyone on "fellow gorilla-armed people: do you feel like sleeves are shorter these days?" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/fellow-gorilla-armed-people-do-you-feel-like-sleeves-are-shorter-these-days#post-1084569 Thu, 14 Nov 2013 04:56:29 +0000 crazyone 1084569@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ I'm one of those people whose wingspan is longer than their height, even though I have really tiny hands.  Which means that I think I have disproportionately long arms for my height.  I've recently been finding that blazer sleeves are often a little short on me.  First I thought it was just petite items but even regular sized blazers are running short on me!  And I often end up having to roll sleeves up on tops because they're hitting on an odd point.  But at the same time, I have some older items where the sleeves are quite long...are any of you having this experience?  I know Angie has long arms, too.
