For example, I had noticed over the years that shoulder pads tend to look bad on me (I have "linebacker issues", too) and I thought it was because my shoulders were broad. So I thought all structured jackets would just not work for me. But not too long ago, I actually measured them, to help decide what size to order in a blouse. It turns out they aren't broad. They are the expected width. I've come to see that they are simply very square, which is different. (Shoulder pads still look bad, but now I know that if I remove them, the jacket will look great). </p> <p>Anyway my point is, you are expecting to look like a linebacker, but maybe the jacket it just a couple of tweaks away from perfection.
