So bare arms and buttoned up all the way it is. The reasoning, which especially Maya expressed so well, makes a lot of sense to me. I am so used to layering short sleeved jackets over long-sleeved tops and shirts that I just did the same thing with this jacket, too. But I can see how this special jacket works great as a statement piece just by itself.</p> <p>I like the skirt outfit very much myself, though I'm not sure how often I'll wear it since it seems just a tad more dressy than I'm used to. But I'll try! It gets sloppy and fussy when it's left open, or with only one button done, and it loses shape. When closed all the way it looks adorable and fits you well.</p> <p>• My favorite outfit is the skirt one because you let the jacket be the focus. This jacket is definitely a big statement. Adding belts and scarves and patterned sleeves is just making it look too cluttered and messy. I think the jacket can definitely work, but you'll have to keep the rest of the outfit very clean and quiet. If you're willing and able to do that, it's definitely worth keeping because the skirt outfit looks divine. I imagine you could swap out the skirt for jeans or even clams for a more casual or springy look.</p> <p>• The color is not the best color ever for you, but it doesn't look bad either. I wouldn't let that be a deciding factor. I think a darker color like ink blue would look best with it and help it work with your coloring. I also like a very deep bluish purple with yellow, and apple green...and fuschia!
