I really like the blue ruffle top also - great color. I don't think it's the ruffles that are overwhelming -- I think the way the sleeve are bunched and bit short isn't the best sleeve look for you. It draws the eyes away from the shape top and the line of the ruffles. The ties make it fun and the tapered hem softens the line across your hips. </p> <p>The blue ruffle shirt is cute but it does seem to accentuate your shoulders--it looks like it's pulling a bit on the diagonal (raglan line) and the ruffles at the collar make your traps look healthy. I may be overly sensitive to this because of my own broad shoulder issues so please take this with a grain of salt. </p> <p>I'm not much of a skirt person so I'll leave that to the others.
