It is a KILLER look for you.  As for other things to wear the blazer with, I like the idea of elevating some of your casual wear with the velvet blazer to wear occasionally to the office.  Navy pants, burgundy pants, cream, chambray blue, pink are some of the colors that would look great with this.  I would guess there are others, but those come to mind easily.  I  often lay things on my bed to mix and match prior to putting them on. I find new combos this way sometimes....and sometimes what looks good on the bed does not look good IRL! I am also wearing a Gap sweater that is often too warm.  I need to edit out some of the really warm pieces as I have more than I need.  This one will go as it is an oldie.  The pants I am not sure about.  Maybe I will keep them as long as they are a loose fit.  That means doing this try on again next winter, but I have missed their warmth.  If I find other wool pull on pants these will go. Since the print, or design, of the blazer is so small, I think you can wear it as either a navy or a purple blazer whenever you wish. I really think you have hit the nail on the head wearing it with that rich red, though. It was day before the funeral and I had milion things on my mind. I just went into some store in unfamiliar mall, it happened to be Scotch and Soda, and grabbed the first navy coat that I saw. I did not even look at the price and barely tried it on. But I am so happy with the purchase now and wearing it a lot. It turned out to be the perfect coat and I don’t have bad associations. It reminds me of my mom in good way. It could be lots of fun. This outfit is gorgeous exactly as is, but I could certainly see wearing it with denim trousers and a silky styled button up blouse or a column of cream too. Perhaps wear a navy/ white striped top with navy or white pants or jeans. On the other hand, my casual outfits are very casual, I don’t remember if I ever wore blazer on the weekends, I am probably tired of them after work week and associate them with work. You will get a chance to see more of my casual wear in this challenge which I rarely shared on the forum before. Warning- it is going to be disappointing:) I am thinking that I should maybe relax my office wear ond elevate casual and be more consistent with my style. That would probably make things more simple. Very windy and rainy day in the office. There is also office party today after work. I am wearing velvet blazer that I got in Seattle with Angie in 2019. I must admit, I don’t wear it that often, because it is velvet and it seems appropriate only in the dead of the winter, and around holidays, it is bulky so it doesn’t fit under some of my coats and the pattern is also limiting. But it matches this skirt that I usually don’t wear to office, especially in winter. I feel especially matchy matchy today, since skirts also matches lining in my new navy coat, and I am wearing the same burgundy color scarf and hat. Any suggestions how to get more wear out of this blazer? Close up is the blazer pattern. Adjust colors in #3 to be more accurate.
