The heavy fabric will provide warmth as well as coolnesss. Or add a blazer. Mine is more of a faded blue with cargo packets but the white is similar to yours. I don’t think my slits are quite as high. Sitting down is not a problem. I’m in Australia so it’s autumn here: can be cool in the mornings and afternoons on the walk to work and back, but inside the office it can feel oppressively warm, and I’m often too hot in trousers. I layer on the top so I can get down to a short-sleeved top… and then the split skirt with bare legs gives me the breeze, but with the illusion of coverage. </p> <p>I also like that the heavy denim fabric gives it structure, so it pairs well with blazers and scarves. For someone who tends to run warm, I seek out things that give that ‘winter’ look without being too warm.
