They have good arch support. My feet get sweaty with the gel insoles. They work for most of my shoes (except some with a tighter fit where I had to use a non-descript foam insole) and they are so, so, so comfortable. Don't make my feet sweat or overheat (even though sometimes I wear them with shoes without socks). They can be trimmed to size, and even when I trimmed them too much and they were a bit small they didn't move out of place.
