I would like to hear what magazines people find helpful in understanding style. I find the "high art" fashion magazines irrelevant to my life, so I don't look at them at all. I recently picked up a copy of In Style, and found it a little too filled with Hollywood It Girls for my taste. I like Lucky, though I find that every issue features at least one incredibly hideous trend.

I think magazines have gotten closer to showing things that non-jet-setting women over 19 might actually want to wear, yet I haven't found one that really captures a polished look such as we get to see on YLF. Anyone have a magazine suggestion? I spend a fair amount of time on Amtrak, and I can't take YLF on the train with me.
