Hmm...I like the sound of the body scrub. I sometimes mix brown sugar and lemon juice to a paste and use that to exfoliate my lips. And I usually make a hair mask that is part olive oil, honey, and my regular conditioner, which works nicely.

Some things I have done in the past and liked:

1. a hair mask made of olive oil and egg yolks
2. a face mask made out of semi-whipped eggwhite
3. body scrub made out of mixture of brown sugar and baby oil

Hi Everybody!

I'm not sure if we've discussed this topic before (I think we've talked about things in the same area), but I was wondering if you all had any favorite at home beauty treatments, and if so, what they are? I'm not talking about makeup, or moisturizers necessarily, but more along the lines of scrubs, treatments like deep conditioners for hair, salt soaks, that sort of thing. Or if you have your own recipe, that would be interesting to hear about as well.

I end up spending a lot of money on my hair (highlights and cuts at a really fantastic but pricey salon), so I don't have much left over for skin treatments and manicures/pedicures. I do a lot of that stuff on my own at home. Any suggestions/discussion would be appreciated.

Thanks everybody!
