My jackets and coats are on wooden hangers because I think they support the shoulder line better. My shirts, dresses, and sweaters (yes, I hang sweaters by folding them on the hanger) are on the skinny velvet hangers, my pants hang from the hems on clamped pant hangers, and my skirts are on a tiered skirt hanger.
