Thanks for the recommendations and tips, everyone! Definitely worth checking out.

kkards, I actually would buy these from Anthro, where they have a lot of reviews. For some reason, I could not get the YLF bookmarklet to work on that page, so I used the Amazon page instead. That was a good catch...sometimes "Buyer beware" is a good motto on Amazon!

I find the faux suede to be a bit easier in some ways. I clean mine with a suede brush and one of those eraser thingies, just like I clean my genuine suede shoes. I find that the faux suede doesn't stain quite as easily

gigi...cute shoes....the only thing that make me a little concerned about these boots are the fact that they have 0 reviews on Amazon... but it makes me nervous that somethings been offered for sale on Amazon for a year with 0 reviews....but that maybe my own craziness.....

They are nice! I suggest to use waterproof spray. You could also ask a cobbler to add a rubber sole - a trick my cobbler suggested to me. This makes the shoes more insulated and makes them last longer. .

I have some from old navy that im quite sure are faux suede, but meant to be waterproof. Bless the little things, they held up in the pouring rain and kept my feet dry! Psa though, the lowest shaft ones fit much better at the ankle. The taller ones with the heels are super loose.
Size down though. These are an 8 and i usually wear 8.5 or 9.

I had a pair of thick nylon (not suede) and they did so so well. I’m a big fan of sprays etc.

Joy, I wouldn't wear them if it were pouring rain, but the weather can change quickly here, so I might get stuck in a bit of a rainstorm occasionally. As for wearing them in the snow, the parking lot for my apartment building isn't plowed very well, so there is often an inch or two of snow just by my car in the lot, but sidewalks and business parking lots are fine.

I already have a pair of Blondos, which I love, but I didn't see any Blondo styles that I liked this season or that felt comfortable. Aquatalia is out of my price range right now.

Would you really wear a heel that high walking in rain and snow? I would look for a waterproof suede bootie by a company who makes them like Blondo or Aquatalia.

I am considering the booties below to wear during the fall and milder winter days, but I am unsure as to how they will stand up to the elements. Fall and winter can be unpredictable here, and bad weather can come at the drop of a hat. Do you think that rain or a bit of snow would damage microfiber suede? Is microfiber suede just as delicate as real suede?

I would also be open to other recommendations of similar-style booties if you have any. I'm looking for a sock bootie with a higher shaft, chunky heel (under 3"), and an almond toe. It can be suede, faux suede, or leather. Not too delicate.
