I do think it looks better. </p> <p>I find sizing so for online shopping! I do sometimes order 2 sizes at once— of course that’s often recommended - but I hate the churn and sending back. But whenever I just assume a size up or down will be too big or too small, I may find that the sizing change is in just the right areas of fit. It’s also sometimes necessary and very helpful to compare in the same try- on, what is gained and what is lost. I decided to order the next size down to try it. Will report back. To answer some specific questions:&nbsp;</p> <p>the fit is quite big especially in the shoulders. There is plenty of room for a thick sweater. I'm ok with a dropped should style and an oversized winter coat style.&nbsp;</p> <p>Hemming the sleeves would require cutting and re-attaching the binding/trim. I don't know any tailor I'd trust with it and It's not something I'd want to tackle myself. It's way too thick to fold underneath and stitch.&nbsp;</p> <p>As far as warmth, this would be my third coat for wearing when it's below the mid-20sF. In this category I also have an Eddie Bauer long heavy puffer coat and a DKNY black faux sherpa coat with a belt. Since mid Nov I've worn one of these coats 14 days out of 2 months. It's been a lot colder this winter than the past few years and we are heading into the coldest/snowiest part now. It’s a lot of coat, though, which is the style. I have narrow shoulders and prefer coat collars which are more streamlined —again not really found in this fabrication. So it’s more what you like. I had a dark brown real sheepskin coat decades ago that was super warm and I loved it, but after wearing it for one day of city commuting (driving to the station, waiting outdoors for a train, riding the train, transferring to another train, walking outdoors for 15 minutes … and then doing it all again in reverse) &nbsp;my shoulders hurt from the weight! So I returned it.</p> <p><b></b>I found this faux one at Mango, the L being the last one in the store. &nbsp;I could order the M online to try, but the return window is really short since it's on sale and I have some travel in a. few weeks so it might not be doable. It's a bit oversized on me, and I have to fold up the sleeves quite a bit (and I could fold them up even more). &nbsp;I do prefer winter coats to be a bit oversized so layering underneath works well. &nbsp;This coat is really warm and a bit more interesting than the heavy puffers I was looking at as possible new coat additions this winter.<b> </b></p> <p><b></b>Finds don't seem to be working for Mango at the moment but I was able to create a custom one.
