It was like wearing one of those collars used to treat whiplash...I could not move my head at all...too much faux fur This particular one does not have a slot to pull one end through. &nbsp;I'm also not loving this look enough to be willing to put time into alterations, I'll just keep looking. Unfortunately the Rest Hardware ones say final sale so not going there since I might or might not like them. I find it a bit overwhelming too (I'm 5' 4"). I found it got reigned in somewhat by pulling it through the loop. I bought it to wear for special occasions so don't mind the over-the-topness of it. </p> <p>I think, though, finding one on a smaller scale is a great idea. Angie mentioned that BR had some on sale, so I ordered one in two colors. Thanks Angie!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The deep blue one is a little too purple for my coat. Pics below show the grey one, tied two different ways. It's lovely&nbsp;but HUGE on me. Too long, too thick, too much around the neck, etc. I could take a sleigh ride&nbsp;like in Dr Zhivago with this as a lap rug! </p> <p>I'm 5'1" so these scarves could work well on a taller person who likes a dramatic look. Very soft and warm and very nice colors. They are backed with a satin-y&nbsp;lining like you'd find in a coat. </p> <p>On to the next one! </p>
