Thanks! Even if it isn't fully boyfriend-y, I'm glad it at least looks okay. I'll have to give it a shot another time with my Cons to try to capture a casual look and see how that changes things. Angie, I like your idea of the longer layer - maybe having a tunic or longer top would give me more of a "boyfriend" vibe even though the blazer isn't very long.
Shiny, unfortunately this is as far as the sleeves will roll. I like the blazer for more formal wear because the sleeves fit well, but it makes it tricky to roll or pull them up to the elbow.
Anyway, thank you all for your helpful suggestions, and I will keep trying out this look.

You look adorable, Kari! Works for me.

I'd like to see a longer layer peeking out from under the blazer. More cheeky!

Thanks for the call out Kari!

Whether or not it's a true BF look, I think it's cute and I do this with my other jackets too. In fact, I did this just this week with my jacket from HK. I would try pushing the sleeves up higher - above the elbow. I've also been playing around with wearing shorter jackets like this over longer, even tunic-length tops.

This weekend try that jacket with a graphic tee and converses!

Wow! Kari I agree it may not be 100% boyfriendy, but it looks great. As do both your other outfits. I simply can't pick a fave!

I think the look is really cute, although the shoes take it in a different direction from the formula BF blazer look, I think. But the jacket is a great fit for you and looks good with the sleeves up.

I have not found a boyfriend blazer that worked on me and am not sure I want to bother investing time/money in a search for one, but today I tried out Angie's suggestion of wearing a standard structured blazer in a more scrunched-up style to mimic a boyfriend blazer. This is actually the blazer I wore for my job interviews in September.

Does this work or come close to the look? If not, what else I could try to hit the mark on Angie's flop-proof formula #5? (I wore this to work, so substituted skinny jeans and pumps instead of Converse sneakers.)

http://inkariswardrobe.blogspo.....lazer.html
