Joy, I did not try anything on, being done with clothes shopping for the year. But they do go down to a size 2 in both tops and bottoms, so they might be worth a try. And up to a 20 on the upper end.

Looking at their size guide, they seem to run a bit big. I would take a 14 in tops, as I do at LL Bean and Boden, both of which run a bit roomy.

I will likely try a few things in the new year and report back. It was just so nice to see good fabrics and well made clothes on the rack.

I’ve shopped this brand, they seem to have stores in the northeast US in highly touristy areas. From what I’ve seen it leans very preppie. I’ve never bought anything, but one of my sisters has bought several pieces. Over all it’s good price/value

How do sizes run? I am too small for Eddie Bauer, LL Bean and Lands End because their stuff runs a bit large.

Looks nice--I have not seen that here in the West. Offhand, it looks like maybe an American Eagle or Anthropologie style.

They have some great well-made, rather preppy/Americana type styles. I have a quarter zip pullover from them in my camping capsule.

Well, living in the uk l am Well acquainted with Fatface. They have a slightly more rugged ,less refined vibe compared to similar brands such as Seasalt.Their clothes are generally reasonably priced and good quality and easy to care for. Both hubs and l shop there and like their stuff.l am glad that your son liked his pressie .

I know the store quite well! Seen it in the UK several times. Reminds a bit of Seasalt Cornwell - another British brand.

Glad your son liked his prezzie :)

Toronto store you say?!? Great tip! Just looked it up and it’s not too far for me. I like the jacket a lot and the embroidered blouse is pretty too.

Hi all, I was in Boston/Providence last week, and visited a clothing store I'd never heard of before - Fatface. They're a British brand of women's, men's and children's casual wear; sort of a cross between LL Bean and Boden. The line isn't vast, but had lots of things that I liked. Dresses with pockets!

I bought my son a pullover and shocker, he really liked it! I eyeballed a few things for myself, but only bought a pair of wee earrings.

They have a US/Canada site, and then other sites for other countries. There are BM stores east of the Rockies and at least one in Toronto. they also partner with Macy's (online only) and Von Maur.

What I saw was really well made and nice textiles. Sizes 2 to 20. A few examples below, from Macy's.
