You will be great, and I like your outfit! <br />I've modeled in fashion shows at my friend's boutique quite a few times, and I really enjoy it. My one tip: just smile. It will keep you relaxed. I look at people in the audience, make eye contact, and smile. Often I see people I know, and it puts me at ease, because I know they aren't judging me. Just remember, everyone has come to look at the clothes, not to criticize the models! The audience is made up of people just like you, who like to shop at that store. It's so refreshing to see how great the clothes look on non-professional models. However, I do most of my workouts at a very small studio. When the primary instructor had the flu for a week I substituted for both her TRX and Pilates classes. It's harder than it looks to run a class and I had new respect for her afterwards.</p> <p>Thanks for the walk slow advice, Sally. The owner asked me to be a model in one tomorrow. Thus is not my comfort zone, but I thought, well, I did a TRX fitness instructor training recently too and that was also not the usual me, but fun. So I agreed to give it a whirl. If there's any decent photo result I will share.</p> <p>She picked out an outfit for me of a Cupcakes and Cashmere top (like the top half of the dress in finds), excellent grey jeans, gold tassel necklace and cuff, and loved my Angie copycat boots. </p> <p>I'm getting a little nervous about the walking but have been assured there will be wine and people who have done this before at the hair and makeup pre-session... </p>
