I have never had fun with fashion like I am now, thanks to this site, and I will be 69 this summer. I don't think I've ever had the confidence to dress differently from those around me. The comments and suggestions I get here are taken to heart and used as a guide to help me dress more the way I'd like to without feeling foolish or odd.<br /> I keep thinking about Gaylene's post and need to comment there.<br /> In retirement, I create and take advantage of small events to put more thought into my dress. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/fashion-fun#post-1504879 Fri, 12 Jun 2015 03:30:24 +0000 always trying 1504879@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Gaylene;s post made me think about a few things like why I am enjoying being on here, and about where I am with my style, purchases, and the whole concept of dressing me these days.&nbsp; I have concluded that mostly it is making it fun, I am in maybe the same place as you few older ladies that are retired, so don't have to just get dressed for work every day, which gets to be a chore.&nbsp; Now I can plan what to wear for things as simple as lunch with friends, out to dinner, theater ,etc.&nbsp; What makes things fun is to have a little time to do what I call tweeking.&nbsp;&nbsp; Trying different accessories, mixing colors, adding and subtracting jewelry, scarves, different shoes.&nbsp; also I found that I like being a little different than other women around me. I am enjoying wearing things I like even if others don't, or they are not a trend in my area.&nbsp; </p>
