I loved the idea of it, but in reality, navy cotton fades very quickly and starts to look like charter school uniform fare. I have to tell y'all it's the plainest, boring-est outfit of all time: navy A-line skirt, white button down, brown crewneck sweater (thrown over the shoulders).</p> <p>How many ways is this outfit wrong: We're talking <em>another</em> A-line skirt (tho I don't have any navy ones). We're talking expensive (you don't make boring look so sharp on the cheap). We're talking so preppy, someone is gonna need a Heimlich due to gagging on the <em>implied</em> grosgrain headband (tho the pieces hardly need to be worn as shown).</p> <p>Anyways, I don't need anything beyond my black A-line skirt, right? If anything, I should try to stick to the plan for a pencil skirt, right? </p>
