But Seburg gave it a new vogue in Breathless. This Breton sweater with jeans, and sneakers, or ballet flats, or a chelse type boot has been going strong  for a long time, every couple of decades. 60s, 80s, and now. (And maybe more, too, for all I know).  The scarf is a bit of a nod to 60s pop art pattern mixing and colours. Dots with stripes and clear red. Also the shape is very 60s -- a square worn "kerchief" style. Also, still on the road. Today is my mother's 90th birthday! Jean Seburg is another 60s inspiration for me.
