Beth Ann -- Good question, I did wear the purple velvet dress until a few years ago -- with tall black boots and dark tights it was my going dancing default.   I'm not sure about flares, although I've enjoyed them on others, I haven't been drawn to them for myself (yet).    I can do a french twist with the length of my hair now, and this whole exercise has encouraged me to play with styling it different ways, it's so easy just to go with a wash and wear look.   Same with makeup -- expanding from one main default.   Many of the clothes from the challenges I do wear, and in fairly similar silhouettes, except for the more formal wear, because it's hard to manufacture a place to wear it.  Folks wear Birks to the opera in this town, lol.
