For some reason it's the only one that doesn't look deliberate. The whole "I just climbed out of my hamper" look I guess. Someone mentioned the hair. I suck at hair and spent maybe a minute or two on each one. I did the 90's first and just left it unbrushed, straight out of bed. Brushed it for 70's, did a quick backcomb on two sections for 80's and then tied it up for the 50's. Depending on whether or not I get a delivery this week, I might attempt a Gidget inspired 60's. The 80's is also pretty spot on (paging Joan Jett and Heart) The 70's floppy hat is perfect, and I had the same difficulty with jeans length and platform sandals trying for that era. The challenge was harder than I expected as my wardrobe is pretty cohesive and I have little in the way of jewellry or accessories. 1-2 90's grunge. I find this one amusingly unflattering. The boots really cut up the leg. Although I went to highschool in the 90's I never wore clothes like this then. 3. 80's Rocker. This was easy as I had added a bunch of hard edge stuff over the winter. 4. 70's my least favourite. I had intended to wear cork heels with the pants but my pants were too short. Booo. 5. 50's. I didn't realize I could pull this one together until I was in my closet. Hubby's fav.
