(I'm super chuffed that it made an exception to Angie's maxi feelings). :D You are also quite cute in #2 and I'm very impressed with #3 -- really hard to pull off with what is typically in a closet nowadays.  #4 straddles the 60's - 70's divide and also works for right now. The dress is my mother's and I admired it  on her when I was a little girl and then as a teenager eagerly awaited any seventies parties where I could wear it.  I wouldn't have posted it as a K/R though - this baby is a keeper!!  However it is very fragile and literally threadbare in spots, so I can't really keep it in everyday circulation - just bring it out for special occasions - last year it went to DH's seventies themed party and to a Hawaiian work do. Angie I think that it my first K to the power of K!!   What a lovely birthday present. If it helps your critical judgment I don't think it is strictly speaking *casual* - Mum wore it as an evening dress.  And yes look 4 is pretty close to a current look too. You've all been spared my 70's full length maxi coatdress  and my 80's electric blue ball dress as they were too crushed (though the photos are on YLF somewhere, from years ago)!
