As I understand from you, stylist services are quite expensive and could really be too much time consuming (I don't really have a need/time to shop together etc). At this point I think that i probably need more like a personal shopper's help here. So I could say what is missing in my wardrobe (cuz I know I have let's say beautiful linen palazzo pants, nice leather skirt but don't wear them too much cuz just can't find the right top) and she or he (but probably she would give me some direction towards what exactly i should pick to form beautiful outfits of all that. In this way all my closet (which is variable enough I think) could evolve to many different outfits and not just be a pile of nice ( classic or trendy) clothes in solo :)<br />I am this kind of shopper which knows what suits me, knows what is trendy and buys an item or two, but just can't seem to form an outfit back home &nbsp;or sometimes it occurs to me that I have many tops, but none to be universal enough to match most of the bottoms..</p> <p>Thank you girls, again! That process also exposes if there are holes are in your wardrobe and also if you overbuy certain items. Forum members have also found that they buy for the life they don't have, or for the climate they don't live in, etc.</p> <p>However, if you have the time and don't have an urgent problem-job interview and no clothing or your clothes are <b>all</b> too big or two small, I would start by reading through the considerable amount of information here. And then work to implement it. A full length mirror really helps.<br />And fulfill the requirements to be an active member, so you can post photos and members can help you assess outfits. Her stylist business is separate from running this forum. I live in New Zealand and did use a stylist once about 9 years ago. I was 49 at the time and had gone through menopause a couple of years earlier and gained a lot of weight. So I didn’t feel very attractive at the time or sure of what suited me. I did look at all our stylists in our city on the internet and read about them to get as good a feel of them as possible before trying one. I can’t remember the price but quite a high hourly rate for an initial 2 hours I vaguely remember? She came to my house and we looked at my photos and my wardrobe and gave advice. Then a different day we went shopping, and she also sewed me some pants and a top at additional cost. ( Not all stylists do this, depends if they are good at sewing or not.)
