Your sentimental pieces are beautiful. I know it was a hard decision to pass them along, but they are going to make some lucky vintage clothing lovers very happy. I should know. I spent about half the ‘80s wearing primarily vintage clothing from the ‘40s and ‘50s and had a blast. I was very grateful to their prior owners who cherished their pieces and released them to have new life. Some few years ago I passed on my vintage pieces—holding back just a few!—knowing they would get back out into the world to be worn again. A nice feeling. Your pictures of your family are lovely.
