I went with the turquoise suit with silver and turquoise jewelry. I bought this outfit three years ago when I was just finishing grad school, and since moving to the graveyard shift I haven't had much occasion to trot out clothes like that. While wearing it last night I was really struck by the difference in quality between that suit and the clothes I can purchase now that I've been working for a few years. Some new, ylf-approved suits are definitely on the long-term wishlist, though I really should pay off my previous purchases first. I should also probably get around to altering a Jones New York suit I have in charcoal grey with dark purple pinstripes. I wouldn't th ink that'd work too well for summer, but I liked it at the time and think maybe I can salvage it for the fall.
