Aw Louise, you just gave me the fuzzies.

Itari, good look on your colour quest. I have embraced colour this year, once I realised it was okay for me to love pastels, I was sorted. I look forward to seeing your colour evolution *I'm off now to google the colour viridian*

Thanks, Louise! I feel flattered because of your consideration :)

Scarves are definitely a good idea. I think that now I could wear accessories that are not black and not even charcoal - the colours that appeal to me are all shades of cooler, saturated purple (like royal purple), blue and blue-greens like teal or viridian. Maybe even burgundy. I don't think I'll ever wear warm and bright colours like hot pink or coral - it's too girly and cute for me.

Dark denim is good - I like it.

... this morning i was sitting in the dentists waiting room while my friend got her braces off (40 minutes) and with only the company of 2 year old copies of Hello i got to pondering your quest for colour. On the way up to the dentists we passed a street stall selling scarves in every colour and pattern aha i thinks, i wonder if itari could experiment wth colour using scarves? They are a cheap way to try out colours and see what reactions you get (always a good indicator if a colour suits you- you look tired always means to me that a colour doesn't do good things for me!) and you can wear them over black. other ideas I had (it was a long wait!!) dark blue denim, black clothes with a pattern, my favourite dress is black with a small green and teal pattern, dark purple, all not a huge leap from black- just some thoughts x
