Keeping warm while being festive has never been much of an issue for me, but this year there is a bonfire at my son's school and we're going to a concert in a cathedral, so it suddenly matters. I've been nosing around and see that there were a lot of blazers in gold and black this year, including one by S Oliver that's now sold out. I've also realized that I had a suede blazer with black and gold paisley silk(ish) lining that would work with these things. I have 2 velvet T-shirts and 2 pairs of velvet pants (I don’t wear together because I think I’d feel like one of those flannel storyboards for kids), a velvet dress, two sparkly sleeveless dresses and a couple of sparkly tops. This jacket would go with all of them (pic 1). Unfortunately, to come into my price range, it would need to be 90% off.
