When I was vegan I ordered a pair of shoes from Zappos' vegan section and they turned out to be leather. I returned them and asked them to take the shoes out of the vegan section but instead I think they shut down the vegan section entirely; maybe it was too hard to manage.</p> <p>Recently I bought a rain jacket from Athleta that was described as having two-way zippers (an important feature for me) but it didn't. These are my first on line shoe purchases in a while and all others are well worn, but am going to check all future purchases carefully. I do not think price has anything to do with what shoes are made of any more!!!!!</p>
