Thought about getting that cardi-but not if the arms are tight :/ That shape was around more a few years ago too.
Big white collar is going to be a no for me! Big white anything is a no for me!

I am sooo ready for full length pants, and have bought talls to get the length. Didn't Angie say they were supposed to be returning?

I wonder if the pilgrim collar thing came from Paco Rabanne. I really liked these PR looks. Edgy pilgrim.

Whenever I look at ‘trends’ for F/W I always think about how they might fit into/under a winter coat. Flamboyant collars, hectic sleeves, fringe, etc. don’t compute! My biggest issue at the moment is pants length, Cropped is great for out of doors when combat boots or high boots facilitate warmth and the shorter length clears snow. At home it’s a different issue. Do colour coordinated socks and sneakers work? If I wear long pants (not many out there, especially in my inseam length) and they work well at home, do I shlep through the snow and deal with 3 inches of wet hem?

My Teddy jacket has not shedded, and it is a 'fast fashion cheapo' version from New Yorker (EU), although the lining is not very strong.

Do the newer teddy coats shed? I remember this being a problem with them in an earlier era. I would like one but it’s not a need.
Those big fancy collars used to be a thing before my time. Women used their best lace and tatting for them. They snapped or were pinned on and were detached before washing a garment. My mother would sew them on with a basting stitch and take out the stitching before removing the collar. I remember them being heavily starched.
The name “baby collar” is funny. I can see a woman wearing one of these and burping a baby getting drool (or worse)
all over the collar.

Personally not a fan of pilgrim collars or big sleeves. None of these trends are for me. @Nuancedream - I bought a Teddy jacket towards the end of last winter and I love it - I used it so much right into early spring - practically goes with everything.

I like those large pilgrim collars and voluminous sleeves, but I'm not certain if those trends will make the cut for my wardrobe this year. The other fall trend that I have admired for a while is the teddy jacket and I finally purchased one.

I really like that cocoon shape in a cardigan but like you I am not a fan of those big collars .Apparently they are called Baby collars which just makes me dislike them even more!No offence to babies mind ,it’s just grown women wanting to wear such things but then l am old so what do I know.

Not sure these photos will post, as they are in documents instead of jpeg, But some fall trends I found-would consider this skirt if I had somewhere to go to wear it, love these jewelry ideas, not liking these big collars, and like some of the fuller sleeve ideas, I have a couple of fuller sleeve tops , one is a white t and the other burgundy velvet. Jewlery won't post, but are multiple small chain , and layered chain type.
cardi is MAS-but I have one almost like this and purchased when I first saw this style.
