I remember this being a problem with them in an earlier era. I would like one but it’s not a need.<br /> Those big fancy collars used to be a thing before my time. Women used their best lace and tatting for them. They snapped or were pinned on and were detached before washing a garment. My mother would sew them on with a basting stitch and take out the stitching before removing the collar. I remember them being heavily starched.<br /> The name “baby collar” is funny. Jewlery won't post, but are multiple small chain , and layered chain type.<br />cardi is MAS-but I have one almost like this and purchased when I first saw this style. </p>
