Ha Diana my posting was from last year around this time It's not always easy to tell when something was posted Thanks for the input anyway! The vionics would not stay on my feet. (I need to completely stop looking at ballet flats) so I didn't keep them. The zip fs loafers have been fantastic as have the running shoes. Unfortunately I bought 1/2 size too big in the Ecco sneaker and didn't realize it until I had worn them several times even though I knew something was off. I don't love the style either, so those were a mistake.

Shoes were my #1 wardrobe priority for fall/winter. I want
to wear flat shoes most of the time and had very few. I do have ankle boots with slightly higher
heels and also some pumps so I decided to focus on the flats first. I also had
a goal of getting some in colors other than black. Here’s what I got:

Vionic pointy toe flats. A top pic and
well deserved. These are the first pointy toe flats I’ve found in many years
that are comfortable. Most flats don’t have enough padding in the sole for me
and/or they rub on my big toe knuckle causing blisters and even nerve pain, and these have neither problem. Read Angie's notes.
I got them in the silver snakeskin and the leopard print to go with outfits in cool and warm colors. These shoes are just the right amount of "dressy" for most of my activities.

Ecco patent leather sneaker in “warm grey”. Super comfy
brand, I really love the metal lace hardware on these. The laces are NOT as shown in the pic, they
are a cooler grey that reads as steel blue, which is very strange. I’m going to
look for some grey/pewter laces which I think will look better.

Franco Sarto zipper loafers. This is a brand I find very
comfortable and the leather always seems better than the price
might indicate. I thought these were very modern looking.

Last but not least I needed a new pair of running/walking
shoes and found these Saucony’s …one of
my go-to brands for athletic shoes.

I’ve also been looking for a comfort shoe/loafer to wear at
home with socks, but have rejected all candidate so far.

If you are interested in seeing what I tried on and
rejected, I have documented them in this collection

http://youlookfab.com/finds/co.....ction=3442

Here are a few outfits for the new shoes (except the running
shoes) ..excuse the messy hair and lack of makeup…all comments welcome of course!

- Ecco Sneakers: Raspberry floral merino cardigan, Anthro
toffee embellished tank, Talbots straight leg jeans

- Ecco Sneakers: Tomato vneck sweater, Adrienne Vittadini
Quilted vest with faux fur lining, Talbots straight leg jeans, scarf

- Black FS zip loafers: dark wash NYDJ skinnies, blush sweater
tunic, scarf

- Black FS zip loafers: almost black wash Democracy skinnies,
blush T, grey sleeveless open cardigan

- Silver Vionic Flats: black JNY skinnies, purple vneck
EF sweater, scarf

- Silver Vionic Flats: black ponte slacks, burgundy top,
black/white moto sweater

- Leopard Vionic Flats: Inc straight leg jeans, light blue JCrew wool
sweater, toffee LLBean puffer (this puffer vest is super warm but maybe not so
flattering)...I'm going to look for another top that would go with with this look and these shoes
