The bag will be carried nearly every day this F/W so it's a small investment piece, but I did get it on a good sale through ebags.</p> <p>Claire - I agree it really helps to find that cohesive palette that works for each of us. And it does make it easier to get dressed. It's still a work in progress for me but I'm getting better at culling out the wrong things. Color is an amazing thing to me - it makes such a difference in so many things in our lives, not just in fashion. I mainly started choosing bracelets over other jewelry based on a few things. I still wear necklaces some, but to me, bracelets are easier. Maybe because they are not up near my face and they don't compete with necklines?&nbsp; I need comfort, neutral tones that I wear a lot, and low price so I can experiment (for ex. those navy bracelets were on clearance for $9 but they had a weird tassle thing attached, DH helped me cut that part off and they are SO much better for my use).</p> <p>Astrid - thank you, I'm pretty happy with my F/W wardrobe plans and have been loving most of the colors available this season. I've also been enjoying everyone else's WIWs and missing a few regulars that seem to be MIA.</p> <p>I thought I'd share my new F/W handbag (see Finds), and main color<br /> palette for the season (fall and winter are "one" season for me). The<br /> bag is a warm gray with suede taupe panels on each end from Vince<br /> Camuto. This is one of those bags that seems to have all my needs met.<br /> Medium to small size, lightweight, leather, satchel with long strap<br /> option, slip pockets on the outside, feet, etc. </p> <p>I had a tough time deciding on the right color as I was leaning towards<br /> the cognac, but then I realized that as much as I do like cognac on<br /> others, for me, it isn't my best color. I ended up keeping the navy<br /> version of the leather sneakers (changed the laces) and returning the cognac for that reason. Seems like such a basic "discovery" but ends up being pretty<br /> important for me moving forward in my fashion purchases. I have some<br /> dark taupe wedge booties on order to try as well - I really hope those<br /> work.</p> <p>I tend to be doing better with cooler shades these days overall but<br /> still have some warm tones left in my closet that I don't want to get<br /> rid of quite yet (darn budget). Plus, my belts and jewelry (and shoes)<br /> fall more into the neutral shades of light tan and taupe and navy and<br /> bookend my hair which is blonde/taupe/silver at this stage.</p> <p>And for fun I thought I'd include a lineup of how I've been wearing my<br /> 4 favorite bracelets in various combinations to create 11 (or more)<br /> different options. These have all been purchased over time. The one white addition was SO helpful in bringing in the ivory color of my summer handbag and shoes into my outfits.
