They were the basis of my wardrobe since probably 2010 so after that long I have been a bit tired of them and trying to mix it up. I have edited out quite a few in the past two years but still own about 8 or 9 depending on how they are classified. A couple might be more properly called long tops.<br /> And I do still like the ones I have kept. Both the button tunic and oversized vest are kind of statements all by themselves so that makes sense.</p> <p>lyn67: &nbsp;Thank you and you are making me think which is a good thing. &nbsp;The problem with the tunic is that I had never tried it with white jeans before and that made all the difference. Previous attempts were with blues and blacks which were blah or too contrasty. The problem with the vest is its volume and color. It really needs a fitted layering piece and this is the only one I have found that works. It's also a heavier weight and works for cool, not warm or cold days. But now that I've used SarahD8 prompt challenge to work with these rarely worn items, I'm perfectly OK with wearing them exactly this way for the rest of the season. I plan to wear each item 6 times this season and try to tweak the styling with each wear. Committing to posting my progress will help me by motivating me and getting feedback. I've started with two items that are 4/5 years old and don't have many wears. Both items have received positive comments in the past but I just don't seem to reach for them. I know tunics are out of style but I still plan to wear and enjoy them and it has been difficult to style the vest because of it's volume. Suggestions for improvement are really helpful for me. </p>
