Sweater weather is the best. I think it is because I am very fair-skinned, sun burn incredibly easily, and hate the feel of sun screen. &nbsp;So I have never worn shorts or skirts, and rarely short sleeves outside.&nbsp;</p> <p>But with the help of YFL, I am branching out in tiny ways. I intend to wear the heck out of my summer clothes (especially things that have been orphaned/neglected) until the heat breaks. I will use this time to do some much needed evaluating and culling of individual items before I pack them up for storage. I may decide to retire (to storage) a few gauzy tops and very summery looking items (sundresses, some sandals) in the next week or so. Never mind that I plan to be at Panera working all day and half of the lipstick will rub off on my coffee cup. &nbsp;This is a color I only wear in the fall and winter and my only explanation for the strong desire to wear the color (or any lipstick at all for that matte - usually I go bare) is a shift in mood. &nbsp;It's cloudy today, September starts tomorrow, school is underway. &nbsp;Fall is coming. Of course around here it will still be in the 80s and 90s for two months. &nbsp;The point of this rambling is that even though I still have weeks/months to wear my summer things it's time to start dressing more strategically. &nbsp;The summer weight neutrals will carry me well into October, but I don't think I"ll want to reach for summer florals. &nbsp;Later today I'm going to pull a few summery things I want to be sure to wear before my mood fully shifts.</p> <p>What about you? &nbsp;Do you have some neglected summer clothes that need to see some loves before the end of September? </p>
