Here too - we're still in shorts and tees on the weekends. I haven't changed out my closet for cold weather yet, just my shoes and boots. For work, I'm wearing my "goldilocks" clothing (for when it's neither too hot nor too cold) - mid weight pants, longer skirts with bare legs, long sleeve lightweight blouses, long sleeved or 3/4 sleeved dresses. Navy, burgundy, olive, cobalt, black, white, and grey are the colors I'm wearing most often. Some days, boots and booties don't seem too ridiculous. Other days it's closed toe pumps, loafers, or oxfords. And my lightweight Burberry trench is getting a lot of use for the morning commute, which is always a good thing. I'm hoping we don't go from 80 degrees straight to snow and actually get that nice 50 and 60 degree fall weather for a month or two.

yes, we are having a warm fall….in fact, i think September was warmer (definitely drier) than June was…..we've actually only had 1 day that was sweater weather….after 2 really, really cold winters, i'm wondering what's in store for this one. so far, as others have mentioned, i've transitioned colors, but not really fabrics or footwear

SoCal girl giving you an appreciative nod. So annoying that it's STILL in the 90s. I am ready to move on....got the sweaters out of storage, unpacked the heavier gear (sweatshirts and hoodies) for gym trips, and it's still shorts and tank top weather.

Silver lining: I found the most adorable new with tags sundress at the thrift store earlier this week when we were having gloomy weather & couldn't resist buying it even though I figured I'd need to wait six months to wear it. Surprise....wearing it out to dinner with hubby tomorrow night (with a white jean jacket--I don't do exposed spaghetti straps.)

I hear you! We still have temperatures at or over 100. As others have said, I have started wearing a different color scheme (blush, burgundy, olive with neutrals). It makes me feel a little bit like the season is changing. :-)

Forecasting highs in the mid 80s to 90s here. Definitely not comfy football weather. I do tend to try to reflect the season in colors if not fabrics. We have cooler mornings that trend hot by afternoon, so it's tricky.

We are still having warm weather here too. I have a couple of shorter sleeve tops and some in lighter weight fabrics but in fall colors so I have been focused on wearing those.

I hear you...30F when I got up yesterday, but 75F in the afternoon. So, I dress for the days high and am too cold in the morning.

In the 80s today....come on FALL !!!!

I'm using more closed toed shoes in my combos, but I'm impatiently waiting to wear a nice sweater!!

This is where the purple and gray items trot out in California's October. It makes me feel like fall even without crunchy wool scarves and leather boots

I do find transitions seasons harder than I thought--it seems like it should be easy because the weather is usually pleasant!
I find the air conditioning at work seems even worse when high outside temps start to get 60's in a.m. and highs in 80's, compared to 90's. So I can wear warmer things indoors but then wonder what was I thinking, in late afternoon.
I use color mostly--trying to combine more burgundy, camel, olive but still in lighter fabrics. I have a lot of scarves but have recognized I need to identify my "transition season" lightweight but fall-ish scarves ( as for cold Spring)

It's supposed to be 90 here today, so I'm wearing summer clothes, and just thinking about fall and winter. What I'm thinking: will it ever cool off here?
