New long puffer - Check. Got one I like from Land's End.  Finding is not as warm as my old one though.  Hmmm. 2. Tall Black boots - Haven't found these yet but I have been off of tall boots all season so I may cross these off. 3. Black moto boots - Check.  Got these at the Nordies prefall sale. 4. Navy cashmere V-neck - Have one on order from an incredible Black Friday deal.   5. Gray Merino V-neck - Check.  Got one that is perfect from Hasson...  Another Black Friday steal.   6. New Cuddle Duds - on Cmas list. 7. White and gray cami - Check.  Added these from H&M last month and I am wearing them all the time.  I am finding that I wear a cami under everything these days for warmth and/or coverage.   I love having a targeted list.  It has allowed me to really narrow down my shopping and take advantage of sales.  8. Floral jeans - I ended up with some boyfriend cut instead of skinnies and decided to style them differently. pastel fuzzy topper - this turned out to be a poor idea; I looked pretty eccentric. But now I'm considering a faux fur vest that doesn't look quite so over-the-top. Skinny jeans - I ended up with grey and a black double knit pair, which were a nice surprise. Dolce vita booties with chains and straps as trim - more versatile than expected. Androgynous moto jacket - success; bought a size up for slouch. Two basic long sleeved layering t's - I surprised myself by buying stripes Patterned long cut slim tanks for layering - success. Planned Work trousers - planned, moderate success, fit not perfect Black tops x3 - planned and all well used, good buys Cream top - planned, well used Parka- planned, well used white and pink jackets - planned and well worn Black moto boots - planned, success Tan sandal boots - planned, success Tan handbag, second hand, planned, success Navy and white shorts - planned, success Not planned but replacement items Three statement tees - successful, all on regular rotation Maxi dress x 2 - both unplanned, new one a success, one back to consignment where I purchased it from Grey merino/possum cardigan - thrifted, unplanned, loungewear, well worn Wildcards Black and White window pane - wildcard and favourite kimono - wildcard, favourite, well used patterned joggers - wildcard and well worn Melon sweater - wildcard, moderate success If I look at the failures there is only the one maxi dress that is unworn and unlikely to be so.  I should have been more fussy with the work trousers, an item I struggle to fit between length, waist, butt and thighs to get an elegant look,  I was swayed by the buy 3, get one free deal at the time and the other two items have been a success. So overall I would say this is a successful year.  There is more on the list (21 items) than I would have expected had I not counted, I would have thought I would be closer to 15.  Aside from this I have bought underwear, exercise gear and the odd accessory (I think one necklace, two hats and one scarf) Thanks, it was interesting to check it all out! . I was able to score my black velvet boyfriend blazer and I've been wearing the heck out of it.  I didn't have as much luck with a cashmere cardigan and maybe that item isn't for me.  They were either too long or too blah on me.  Dang that little enticer, Claire, who was on the hunt for Chelsea boots when we were at SSIF, and now that's beating on my radar.  I was late to the party on this one, but I did snap up the Talbot's denim dress in my perfect size, and it was on sale, so better late was better priced. I did get new tall black boots - Borns via one day sale at Garnet Hill, worth keeping an eye on, deb, if they fit you, they seem to go on sale every month or so. Not sure why I said I needed tall brown boots, because I'd bought some at the consignment store early this year. Brown booties, nope; I've widened that search to be "ankle boots in anything but black" but still am looking. I looked up what I said:  1. My HEWI: a great suit I managed to cross that off the list shortly after writing the note because I purchased the suit last spring.  2. A new puffer coat and/ or wool coat to give me more coat variety.  Check. I have got the new wool coat. The puffer is on order and may or may not work, but one upgrade is good for now.  3. New winter tuques in a couple of colours, plus mitts/ gloves.  Thanks to E. I am partway to my goal here. I also got a new pair of gloves.  4. New pair of patterned pants or jeans, not super skinny fit.  Check (the Kut plaid jeans, slouchy skinny).  5. A bag that I like better than my current Tiganello shopper Check -- got an Orb tote thanks to Viva and also a new backpack from Zara. Nothing fancy or expensive but they do the job for now.  6. A fun, trendy topper or two (or three). Yes. I purchased both of these in the spring. At NAS I hope to shop whatever knit blazer is good this year (the last 2 years there has been a knit blazer on sale at NAS that was an Angie rec and popular). I'm also hoping to shop some blouses for FW at that time of year.-- I didn't buy a knit blazer, but hope to substitute with another washable jacket Then when knitwear really hits the stores (I'm not opposed to dipping into warmer season's versions either) I need to stock up on 3-4 sweaters. -- this was a mixed bag, I added one pullover and one layering cardi and have 2 more I'm waiting int he mail for I also plan on purchasing some heatgear type tops to use as underlayers. -- I've become addicted to the v-neck heatgear tops for under various necklines in my arctic office I have a feeling a new bag is in store for Fall 2014, and would love a new wool coat as well (the coat would probably have to be a gift). -- I added a new work tote because a seam split on mine, a new clutch/wristlet, and a new carry on suitcase I'm also hoping to add 2 new pairs of boots (I'd love a pair of tall boots, and then another bootie). -- I added 2 booties and a pair of mid-calf boots Plus, I have several events where I need some dressier tops-- finding what works for winter will be a challenge. -- I added one dressy blouse and have one dressy sweater coming in the mail, hopefully to cover the holidays And like Suz, I would like to grow my hat collection! -- I added one slouchy beanie and have another coming.  Actually, depending on how my final set of orders come out, I purchased just a couple fewer clothing items than I had proposed in my Fall wardrobe thread, and in the same categories. I did some substituting (black skinnies for ponte pants, etc.-- refined booties for pumps) but stuck to the functional aspects of the plan. Hopefully the last 3 sweaters, 2 jackets, and 3 shirts work out! Otherwise I might have to keep shopping, although I'd prefer not to.  That said, I definitely didn't find everything I desired, particularly some of the colorways and accessories I was hoping to find. Well I did find the black boots but they were sold out so fast that I did not get a chance. How did all of you do??
