Unfortunately, looks like they are not available in a narrow. But I can definitely see how it's better to go all-out rather than have the strap be too subtle.</p> <p>I tried styling the plum wedges a few other ways and they do seem versatile- they can go under bootcuts with just the toe visible or with skinnies scrunched down over the straps. I could wear this well through fall in my climate.&nbsp;<br />The ankle strap wedge pump is not the easiest shoe to find, but I hunted down the following two (See in Finds).&nbsp;They are pretty equivalent in price and comfort. The strap on the burgundy shoes are significantly higher on the ankle ( I had to roll up an extra roll for them to be visible).</p> <p>The comfort level for both&nbsp;is A+. I can actually run easily in these shoes, a key requirement since my 3 year old is speedy..</p> <p>How does it look, though? Are the thick straps unflattering? I would prefer to keep just one, and I do wear a lot of red/plum.
