I would have liked the bright navy but it was sold out by the time I got there, and then I realized that I really wanted a lighter coloured sweater anyway. I had my ivory and navy striped cotton LL Bean Breton but no other lighter coloured sweaters, really, and light can be almost as good as vivid colour for a perk-up.&nbsp;</p> <p>I'm going to be checking for bright colours, though, during Boxing Day sales.
