I'm the opposite Lori, I literally have a pea head (hairbands which fit my two year old are too wide for me) on a tall body with broad shoulders, I like to wear my hair curly, creating width rather than height balances my head to body ratio. I imagine wearing your hair very sleek would do the same for you.

I believe a lot of movie stars have largish heads on small frame so you are in very good company.

As your have large head you should follow below thing

1.If you have curly hair, make them straight. Curly hairs makes your face look more larger.

2.Highlight hairs by coloring them

3.Use long jewelery.

4. Let your hairs come on your forehead, it will make your face look smaller.

5. Make your make up more prominent and dark.

Like Maya, I can't tell what the shape of my face is either. We need Taylor and Renata to chime in.

I have never figured out what my face shape is. It's oval, but long, and I have a very wide chin/jaw area. So yes, I think you can be a combination of things.

I also tend to consider my features more than my face shape. I have very strong features, so I have to be careful about emphasizing certain things while distracting from others.

I think it's possible for a face to have combination shape. My face is round, but it isn't literally as wide as it is long, which is the textbook definition of a round face. So, there's a touch of oval to my face shape as well.

A consultation with a good hairstylist might help you find a flattering cut. As well, there are websites that allow one to upload a photo and try different hairstyles on. It could give you a rough idea. I'm not exactly sure how to balance a larger head with a smaller body but I have an aunt with similar proportions and she has always looked nice with shoulder-length hair.

Is it possible to have a combination (ex: not true oval & somewhat rectangle) face shape? How do I determine the best hairstyle for a combination face shape? How do I minimize what seems to be a proportionately large head/face on a petite body?
Thanks!
