Are all cleaners created equal? There's one near my house that also does alterations, but I take my clothes to a place that specifically does tailoring. It would be convenient for cleaning, though. I've not had to use a dry cleaners since I've moved to Austin. It was really nice--very soft, flattering, and just the right length, so I bought it. I talked to the sales person there and apparently the store is owned by the parent company of American Eagle Outfitters. They are catering to that "just out of college" crowd, so the materials are better quality, and the fashions more "classic." I'd say they run pretty true to size, similar to BR or J.Crew. I do like the shop by outfit feature. They just opened this store near my apartment almost a year ago. I've been in a couple times, but never bought anything because a lot of it just seems very plain and not necessarily any better quality than you would find at BR or J.
